Con Mine Advanced Exploration. Building opportunity for the North.
Gold Terra is looking at a potential re-start opportunity of the past-producing Con Mine and revival of Yellowknife and the Northwest Territories. We're adding three roles for the 2026-2027 program, operating from the Company's facilities in Yellowknife, NWT.
- 6.1 Moz - past production from the Con Mine (1938-2003)
- 16-20 g/t - historic Con Mine gold grades
- 836 km² - adjacent district ground to explore
The Program: Advancing the Con Mine Option Property
The Con Mine produced about 6.1 million ounces of gold between 1938 and 2003 at grades of 16-20 g/t. Gold Terra holds the Con Mine Option and is drilling the Campbell Shear directly below the historic workings, with the goal of bringing the mine back into production.
Around it, the Company controls roughly 836 square kilometres of district ground including Yellorex, Sam Otto, Crestaurum, and more. The same team is working to advance both the Con Mine potential re-start and exploration on the adjacent properties. The positions operate from Gold Terra's facilities in Yellowknife, with year-round road, air, and power access.

Open Positions: Three Roles This Season
Each role operates from Yellowknife on the 2026-2027 program, working across the Con Mine and exploration on the adjacent properties.
Senior Project Geologist
Support exploration and resource delineation across the Con Mine and the adjacent exploration properties.
What you'll do:
- Direct drilling on the Campbell Shear below the Con Mine and on adjacent district targets
- Oversee core logging, sampling, and QA/QC standards
- Build and refine 3D geological and structural models of the Con system
- Integrate results toward resource growth and mine revival
- Mentor field geologists and coordinate contractors and budgets
What you bring:
- P.Geo. (or eligible) with 10+ years in hard-rock gold exploration
- Drill targeting and brownfield or past-producing mine experience
- Strong structural geology on shear-hosted gold systems
- Leapfrog, GIS, and NI 43-101 familiarity
- Experience advancing projects toward development
Geologist
Run day-to-day field geology across the Con Mine program and the adjacent properties.
What you'll do:
- Log and sample drill core and manage the sample chain
- Maintain QA/QC and the drillhole database
- Map and prospect on the Con Mine and adjacent ground
- Supervise field technicians and liaise with drill crews
- Help translate results into targeting decisions
What you bring:
- B.Sc. in geology with 3-6 years of exploration experience
- Confident core logging and structural interpretation
- Gold/orogenic experience preferred
- Database and GIS skills
- Yellowknife-based with field work on nearby properties; GIT an asset
Geotechnical Technician
Log geotechnical core and help capture the ground-condition data behind the Con Mine and district exploration.
What you'll do:
- Log geotechnical core, RQD, bulk density measurements
- Take core measurements and structural features
- Photograph, sample, and manage the movement of core
- Record and maintain geotechnical and downhole data
- Support instrumentation readings and hydrogeological data collection
What you bring:
- Geological or geotechnical technologist diploma, or equivalent field experience
- Hands-on core logging, including RQD and fracture logging
- Familiarity with oriented core and rock-mass description
- Comfortable working in the core shack and the field
- Yellowknife-based with work across nearby properties; accurate data entry a must
