Gerald Panneton | Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Panneton is a geologist with over 35 years of experience in domestic and international exploration and development in the gold mining industry. During his career, he has played a key role in the discovery and advancement of several gold deposits worldwide. He joined Gold Terra in October 2019.

Mr. Panneton was the founder, President and CEO of Detour Gold Corporation (2006-13), where under his leadership, the Detour Lake project grew over tenfold from 1.5 million ounces in resources to over 16 million ounces in reserves and brought into production in just over six years. Today, the Detour Lake mine ranks as one of the largest gold mines in Canada. Mr. Panneton raised approximately $2.6 billion in capital while at Detour Gold. Mr. Panneton and his Detour Gold team were the recipients of the PDAC 2011 Bill Dennis Award for Canadian mineral discoveries and prospecting success of the year.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Panneton spent 12 years at Barrick Gold Corporation (1994-2006), where for the last six years of his tenure, he was Director of Advanced Projects and Evaluations for the exploration and corporate development group. He was instrumental in advancing two gold projects towards production, Tulawaka and Buzwagi in Tanzania. Prior to Barrick Gold, he worked for Lac Minerals Ltd., Placer Dome Inc. and Vior-Mazarin Group.

Mr. Panneton has also been at the head of four other junior mining companies between 2014 and 2019; his last company, Gold matter Corporation, was acquired by Gold Terra in the fall of 2019.

Mr. Panneton received his Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Montreal and his Master of Science in Geology from McGill University.

Mark T. Brown, B.Comm., CPA, C.A | Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Brown is a Chartered Professional Accountant with 30 years of financial experience with publicly listed companies and capital markets. He joined Gold Terra in April 2020.

Mr. Brown is President of Pacific Opportunity since 1997, a company providing financial management services to its clients. His main corporate activities include transactions, financings and corporate financial planning. He is a founder of Rare Element Resources Ltd., which during his time became a $500 million company and listed on the New York Stock Exchange. He was instrumental in helping to build several junior mining companies which have been taken over by larger companies including Pitchstone Exploration and Animas Resources. Prior to joining Pacific Opportunity, he managed the financial departments of Miramar Mining and Eldorado Gold. During his time at Miramar Mining, the Company was operating the Con mine in Yellowknife, NWT.

Mr. Brown currently serves as an officer and director of a number of public and private companies.

Mr. Brown earned his Chartered Professional Accountant designation while working at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He received his Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of British Columbia and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia.

Joseph Campbell, P. Geo | Senior Technical Advisor

Mr. Campbell is a professional geologist with over 40 years of global experience in exploration and mining, including roles as Project Manager, Mine Manager, Chief Mine Geologist, and as an expert appraiser of mining and exploration projects.

Mr. Campbell founded Gold Terra (formerly TerraX) in 2008 and was instrumental in the acquisition of the Yellowknife City Gold project in the NWT, one of the few district-scale high-grade gold projects in Canada controlled by a junior exploration company. He is the Chief Operating Officer of the Company since October 2019; prior, he was Executive Chairman from June 2018 to October 2019, and President and Chief Executive Officer from 2008 to June 2018.

He is President of GeoVector Management, a geoscientific consulting firm that he co-founded in 2002, following a successful corporate career with Noranda and Western Mining Corporation. Highlights of his career include the discovery of the Touquoy gold deposit in Nova Scotia (now owned and operated by St Barbara’s Atlantic Gold operation), the definition of a 250 million tonne nickel laterite deposit in Cuba (Pinares de Mayari), and the discovery of the Meliadine gold project in Nunavut (now owned and operated by Agnico-Eagle) which he managed through to pre-feasibility study.

Mr. Campbell holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology (Hons.) from Acadia University.

Louis Dionne | Senior Technical Advisor

Mr Dionne was an instrumental part of the Detour Gold team and director from 2006 to 2014. He helped build the Detour lake mine into one of today’s largest Canadian gold producers. Prior to his involvement with Detour, he was mine manager at Camflo Mines in Quebec, which eventually became part of Barrick Gold. Mr. Dionne spent over 20 years in the operations and development of gold properties, as Senior Vice President, Underground Operations for Barrick. In this capacity, he had operating responsibility for Barrick's underground operations. He developed the high grade Meikle mine and Rodeo project in Nevada and the Holt-McDermott Mine in Ontario. Mr. Dionne also provided technical input and leadership in the area of corporate mergers and acquisitions for Barrick. Following his tenure at Barrick, Mr. Dionne became President and CEO of Richmont Mines Inc. (2002 -2005), a junior gold producer with operations in Quebec and Newfoundland. Mr. Dionne was also a director of Aurizon Mines from 2006-2013. He is a graduate of Laval University in Quebec where he holds a bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering.

David Suda | Advisor

Mr. Suda is a financial services professional with 11 years of experience in capital markets including sales and trading, investment banking, marketing and corporate strategy. He joined Gold Terra in June 2018.

Prior to joining Gold Terra, Mr. Suda was Managing Director at Beacon Securities Limited for four years heading up the institutional trading desk. He also worked at Paradigm Capital for just under six years in resource-focused equity trading. Mr. Suda started his career at RA Chisholm as a commodity trader.

During his professional career in the financial services, Mr. Suda developed extensive networks that enable him to support companies of differing sizes and across industries to cost-efficiently raise capital, build and manage teams and develop communications strategies that create enhanced market awareness.

Mr. Suda holds a Bachelor in Environmental Studies from York University.
